Do you enjoy watching
spy movies? Although Hollywood would have us believe that all spies live
action-packed lives, in reality most of them make every attempt to live very
transparent lives, blending into the woodwork. Some will come into a foreign country and quietly setup a
seemingly legitimate business but whose real purpose is to spy. These are
called “fronts companies” or “Brass Plate Firms.”
What does this have to
do with the question about there being good in all religions? Notice2 Cor.11:14,15 (And no wonder, for Satan himself
keeps disguising himself as an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing extraordinary if his
ministers also keep disguising themselves as ministers of righteousness.) Yes, the spies that Satan sends into the world
do not come to us saying, “Hi, I’m a false religion.” No, they say, “Hey, we
are agents of light and righteousness.” In order to do that, they would have to
put forth a believable front by recommending honorable conduct and offering honorable services. A couple types
of front organizations mentioned in a Wikipedia article were humanitarian
and scholastic groups. And haven’t the churches typically come in offering
food, medicine and education?
